William Niebes Obituary
Belle Plaine - William (Bill) Niebes, 64 of Belle Plaine died October 29, 2018. He was born in Cedar Rapids January 19, 1954; the son of the late Merlyn and Jeanne Niebes.
Bill graduated from Belle Plaine High School and was active in FFA. He obtained an Associate's Degree from AIB. He made his home in Des Moines and worked as a technician until retirement. He was a loyal Iowa Hawkeye football fan and his enthusiasm was contagious.
He is survived by daughters Christy (David) Roquet and Dawn (Quintin) Foote; sister Linda (John) Rutherford, brother Mark Niebes; grandchildren Taylor Sears, Cristian, Caitlyn and Emersyn Roquet; former spouse Pat Niebes, mother-in-law Ruth Wood and brother in-laws JR and Steve Wood; and a host of Nieces, Nephews, cousins and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, a daughter Nicole Niebes, father-in-law Orville Wood and sister-in-laws Karen (Wood) Jensen, Sandy and Connie Wood.
Memorial will be held at a later date.

To Bill's family: I was saddened to learn of your loss of Bill. I remember him fondly from childhood in Belle Plaine. He and my brother, Al Formanek, spent a lot of time together. I, also, remember all of your family. Bill was a fun, nice kid. God's Blessings to you all. Joy (Formanek) Sherwood

God gives a comforting guarantee at Hosea 13:14 that our loved ones are in God's memory for a ressurrection. What a wonderful hope for the future.
