Albert Elkin Obituary
Albert Elkin, 97, of Owego passed away on Friday, August 5, 2016. Mr. Elkin was predeceased by his wife of 49 years, Miriam Elkin; daughter, Dawn Elkin; son, Bradley Elkin. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Rebecca and Matthew Syrett; son, Benjamin "Bart" Elkin; six grandchildren, Roman Elkin, Alison (Patrick) Cleary, Andrew Syrett, Maggie Elkin, Riley Elkin, Celeste Elkin; brother and sister-in-law, Sidney and Elaine Elkin; sister, Gertrude Ginsburg; niece, Tobi Elkin; nephews, David Ginsburg, Seth Elkin. Albert was a WWII Veteran of the U.S. Army and retired from IBM - Owego in 1984. Funeral services were held at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to the Coburn Free Library, 275 Main Street, Owego, NY 13827.Condolences may be made to Albert's family at www.emfaheyfuneralhome.com.
