i am thinking of you .....i CANNOT get over that your mom was buried on the same day as mine after being neighbors for oh ,my God! how many years.....
may i ? i have memories....Yes, Olive rhubarb... and my mom i dont think she liked but your mom and dad they let us pick what we wanted.
ok... then there was your house.....i loved sitting on your front porch with them and you. seeing your VW bug and asking your mom if you were around.....Oh, my God i was in 7th grade riding my pink bike on West End. i saw my cousin Larry riding down West End with someone on the back of the bike. that was a no-no. as i was trying to tell him. i swerved and yes a woman driving to work at the psychiatric center hit me. my mom heard the tires screech. and then YOUR mom was at the garage door....Mrs. Davison... she's ok BUT NANCY HAS BEEN HIT BY A Car!!!!.
Yes....the neighborhood....when neighborhoods were just that...looking out for each other.
your mom....was great!!! She was SO very nice to me!!!SO welcoming....SO hospitable and God knows...good to little kids who stalked her rhubarb stalks!!!!

Your Mom and Dad were the BEST neighbors any one could ask for on West End Avenue. Her kindness and gentle conversation will be missed by the Davison family. I wish we could have made the service but now my Mom joins your Mom (and Dad) in Heaven. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.

Phyllis,
You are in my thoughts and prayers at this difficult time. Your mother is now at peace and with your dad again. You were a wonderful devoted daughter to both of them. May God keep you in His care.

Amy and Rex were second parents to me when my mother died in 1942. Over the years I admired the strong family values which they instilled in their children. I grieve with her family at her loss to us, but pray she is reunited with Rex in eternal joy.
