Driscall, Barbara Cutler

Barbara Cutler Driscall, 99, of Greene, passed away on June 13, 2016. She was born on June 19, 1916, daughter of the late James L. and Nina D. Cutler in Orchard, Iowa. In 1918 the family moved to the Sulphur Spring Dairy Farm in McDonough. They moved again in 1925 to Greene where she resided until 2003 when she moved to Lansing with her daughter. She is predeceased by her husband, Donald H. Driscall, two brothers Dean and Dale Cutler, and beloved sister-in-law, Ruth D. O'Brien. She is survived by her daughter, Dianne (Jack) Breck; two sons, David (Donna) Driscall, and Lawrence (Cheryl) Driscall; six grandchildren, Brian, Julie, James and Daniel Driscall, Jennifer (Jeos) Oreamuno and Amanda (Evan) Kister; seven great-grandchildren; one niece; Alice Cutler; five nephews, James and Dale Cutler, Jr, Patrick, Daniel and William O'Brien. She was a member of First Congregational Church of Greene and a graduate of Eastman School of Music. She taught music in public schools for 27 years she was active in church, school, community and devoted to her family. A memorial service will be held 12:00 p.m. Friday at Root Funeral Home, 23 North Chenango Street, Greene, New York 13778. Burial will be in the Sylvan Lawn Cemetery in Greene. Friends and family may call Friday from 11:00 to 12:00 p.m. at Root Funeral Home.
