Carolyn (Whipple) Wintersteen
of EndwellCarolyn M. (Whipple) Wintersteen, 76, of Endwell, went to be with the Lord from Wilson Memorial Hospital, Friday, December 13, 2002. She was predeceased by a daughter, Carol Jane Carlin and a son, David Wintersteen. She is survived by her beloved husband of 58 years, Harold Wintersteen, Endwell; a daughter, Cindy Wintersteen, Apalachin; and a son and daughter-in-law, Ken and Darlene Wintersteen, Owego; three grandchildren, Jackie Carlin and Stacey and Eric Wintersteen; and a great granddaughter, Takayla Carlin. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Endicott. Along with her husband Harold, Carolyn was a longtime volunteer for Mended Hearts at Wilson Memorial Hospital. Carolyn was also an avid traveler and a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
Memorial services will be held Wednesday 1 p.m. from the First Presbyterian Church, 29 Grant Ave., Endicott, with the Reverend Janice Devine, Co-Pastor of her church, officiating. Burial will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the First Presbyterian Church, Wednesday from 12 p.m. until service time at 1 p.m. Expressions of sympathy in her memory may be made to the Memorial Fund of the First Presbyterian Church, 29 Grant Avenue, Endicott, N.Y. 13760, or to the charity of one's choice.
