Champa Dubey Obituary

Champa Dubey passed away on October 1, 2010. She was predeceased by her parents, Ripu Bhanjan and Krishnamati Tiwari; and her beloved husband, Govind Dubey. She is survived by two brothers, Ram Lakhan and Ramesh Tiwari; two sons and daughters-in-law, Anil (Neil) and Jessica Dubey, and Subhash (Subu) and Vartika Dubey; and grandchildren, Eela, Ashton, Shreen and Anya. Champa was born in Jhapla, India, where she taught Math. She and her husband raised their family in Park Forest, Illinois, where she began many lifelong friendships. She moved to Endicott to be near her grown sons and their families. She enjoyed reading, taking walks and being in the company of family and friends. She will be remembered for her gentle nature, strong faith and positive outlook. A memorial gathering will be held to celebrate her life on Sunday, October 10, 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. at 517 Irving Ave., Endicott. The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff of Ideal Nursing Home for the care they provided Champa during her stay.
