Daryl Lyle Harris Sr.
of Sayre, PA
Daryl Lyle Harris Sr. born Aug. 5, 1942 passed away Nov. 14, 2007 after a short illness. He is survived by his wife Marie Harris, his children: Daryl Jr. and Shawna Harris, Watertown, NY, Loretta and James Rogers of Sayre, PA, Ross and Christy Harris of Morris, NY, Lila Harris and Jim of Afton, NY, Delta Harris and Ricky of Sayre, PA, step-son Randy and Heather Merrill of Sayre, PA; 2 sisters, Patricia and Douglas Stearns of Venice, FL, Lorraine and Robert Geiger of Kirkwood, NY; former wife and lifelong friend Yvonne Harris of Afton, NY; 14 grandchildren, David, Kim, Randy, and Josh Harris, Michael, Mikey, and Krysti Rogers, Makalliah, Olivia, and Skyler Harris, Stephan and Tallan Davis, Austyn and Amber Merrill; 4 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews; sister-in-law Lu Harris. He is predeceased by his parents, Kenneth and Cora Harris, brother, Ronald Harris and sister, Marjorie Houman.
Services will be held at the Harpursville Baptist Church, 41 Cumber Rd., Harpursville, NY Sat. Dec. 1, at 11 a.m. for family and friends. Memorial donations may be made to the church.

We were fortunate to have shared some of the last years of Daryl's life here in Florida and will remember those always. He is at peace and rest now free from pain.
