David "Al" Corwin
of Endwell
David A. Corwin, 78, of Endwell, joined his beloved wife, Jacqueline, in eternal rest on Sunday morning, September 11, 2005. He was also predeceased by his granddaughter, Carrie Alicia Corwin. He is survived by four loving children, Mark (Mary Beth) Corwin, Endicott, Kathleen (Ricky) Perkins, Camillus, N.Y., Thomas (Marcia) Corwin, Saylorsburg, Pa., Richard L. (Nora L.) Corwin, Endicott; 11 grandchildren, Jason, Nathan, Sara Mae, Joelle, Matthew, Andrea, Kristina (Bolivar), Daniel, Rachel, Eric, and Brittany; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Robert (Margaret) Corwin, Endicott, James (Jill) Corwin, Shippensburg, Pa.; two sisters, Eleanor Allen, Fort Wayne, Ind., Joan and Rudy White, Greene, N.Y.; also several nieces and nephews. He was an active member of Union Presbyterian Church, Endicott, and a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving, during WWII. He was a graduate of Albany College of Pharmacy class of 1952 and went on to be a trusted and respected pharmacist who served our community for several years. Al was a dedicated and loving father who will be deeply missed by all. The family extends special thanks to the numerous doctors who treated Al during his illness, The Red Cross Blood Services Aphoresis Unit and the staff of Wilson Memorial Hospital's North Tower 4 and South Tower 5.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Leon Pucedo Funeral Home, Inc., 1905 Watson Blvd., Endicott, with the Rev. Arthur Suggs, Pastor of his church, officiating. Entombment will follow in Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Pucedo Funeral Home on Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m. Expressions of sympathy in his memory may be made to the American Red Cross Blood Services Unit, 26 Court St. Binghamton, N.Y. 13901, or the Union Presbyterian Church, 200 E. Main St., Endicott, N.Y. 13760, or the Wegeners Granulormatosis Assoc., P.O. Box 28660, Kansas City, Mo. 64188-8660.
