Just the other day while watching The Natural and The Rookie, my thoughts returned to the many great years of the Conklin Clan and Softball days... we were all young, happy and carefree. Good Times. Dave was a big part of all that ❤ Hoping he is carefree in the heavens.

My heartfelt condolences to Dave's family. We spent much time together growing up and the experiences I had with him on the farm have served me well in my life. We had great fun in little league and junior league together. I so remember riding on the tractor with him raking and bailing hay and just being kids. They are wonderful memories for me. My sympathies to all the LaBarre Family.

In My Pocket
I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.
My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.
They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.
Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.
But of all the treasures I have, it's the memories of you that are the most precious.
