Doreen Everett Obituary
Doreen Ann Everett 75, of Binghamton, beloved Sister, Aunt and Friend passed away unexpectedly on November 20, 2017. She is predeceased by her parents Charles and Helen Everett. She is survived by her brother and sister in-law Richard and Sally Everett; niece Lynn M. and Ted Pickard and their children Kelley, Matthew, Kristin, of North Tonawanda; nephew David S. and Tina Everett and their children Derek and Justin of Chenango Forks, NY; niece Diane E. Everett of Charlottesville, VA; as well as a close Friend Pat Walsh. Doreen worked at the Binghamton Psychiatric Center from the time she was 17 years old until she retired. She enjoyed gambling at Tioga Downs, and loved animals especially cats and dogs. Doreen loved spending time at her cottage on Pops Hobby Lake in PA. Visitation will be held on Sunday at the THOMAS J. SHEA Funeral Home Inc. 137 Robinson St. Binghamton, NY 13904 from 4 until 6pm. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Paul's Church on Monday November 27, 2017 at 10am. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Cancer Connection 5008 Brittonfield Pkwy #800, East Syracuse, NY 13057 or Project Paw 127 Bevier St. Binghamton, NY 13904.

Doreen was a special lady who we were worked with at the Psych Center for many years, she will be missed by her coworkers who knew her. Sorry I didn't see this sooner. RIP Doreen. Sorry for your loss.

Doreen was such a special person, and I loved her very much. I am saddened that she has passed. I want to tell all her family how bad I feel of her loss. She was such a thoughtful caring sweet friend. My whole family loved her and will miss her. God bless you Doreen.

I will miss Doreen always. She was a good fried to both my husband Joe and to me. We shared many good times together and she was a big part of my life both from work and retirement. We had good times when she hosted at her Lake house with other friends and she and I enjoyed many conversations where we did not solve world problems but had plenty of ideas. (smiley).
I loved hearing stories about her family who she loved and of whom was most proud .
Bless you Doreen. Till we meet again.

I'm very sorry for your loss, my thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time. My grandparents lived next door to Doreen for many years, my grandmother worked with her also. She was a good friend of theirs, and I had the pleasure of knowing her since I was little. Always very kind and sweet
