How fortunate we are to have grown up on Milford Street living next door to the Vining family. Such wonderful memories. Playing hide-and-seek with Gary and Donita until after dark on warm summer nights; Don, so handsome in his Navy uniform and Dolly, so pretty in a long, blue evening gown that matched her eyes, all dressed up for a Navy ball; we kids laughing and talking while swinging on their back porch swing; going to wreck-um races at Five Mile Point Speedway; playing Canasta at their kitchen table; riding in their big, old, yellow Merc to Lilly Lake; Dolly teaching us how to swim; and giving the girls in both families Toni Home Permanents and painting our nails with Frosted Pink Coconut Nail Polish; Dolly's wonderfully, warm, contagious laughter; the tinkle of her silver bangle bracelets as she rubbed Grandpa Salve on our cuts. Our hearts are touched by her passing but we smile looking back and enjoying the wonderful memories of our two families and today particularly of our beautiful, fun loving, caring, sweet-natured Dolly.
With our love and prayers,
