Eleanor Morley Obituary
Eleanor Morley, 98 of Endicott, passed away, Friday April 1, 2011 at the Vestal Nursing Center. She was predeceased by her husband, James Ralph Morley. She is survived by three children; Constance Morrissey of East Aurora, NY, Donald (Mary) Morley of Endicott, Karen (William) Humiston of West Seneca, NY; seven grandchildren; Kelly (Douglas) Schoenberger, Patrick (Lani) Morrissey, Michael Morley, Matthew (Sara) Morley, Daniel Humiston, Patrick (Bridget) Humiston, Heather Humiston; nine great grandchildren; Emma and Haley Schoenberger, Kathrine and John Morrissey, Karson, Jamie, Logan, Bailey and Madigan Humiston. She was a retired IBM Endicott employee. The family wishes to thank the staff of Evergreen Lane at the Vestal Nursing Center for the compassionate care that Eleanor received.
A Funeral Mass will be held Monday 11:00 am at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church 701 W. Main St. Endicott. Burial will follow in Holy Name of Mary Cemetery, Montrose, PA. The family will receive friends at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church on Monday from 10:00 am until time of service at 11:00 am. Expressions of sympathy in her memory can be made to either Meals on Wheels of Western Broome 705 W. Main St. Endicott, NY 13760 or Our Lady of Good Counsel Church Soup Kitchen 701 W. Main St. Endicott, NY 13760.

Eleanor was such a sweet lady. Evergreen will not be the same without her. Please know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers! I know we aren't supposed to have favorites, but she definitely was one of mine. She was so blessed to have such a wonderful and supportive family.

The staff and volunteers of Meals on Wheels of Western Broome extend their sincere sympathy to the family of Eleanor Morley. Thank you for designating donations in memory of Eleanor to Meals on Wheels of Western Broome. She was a 'favorite' of many those who deliverd meals to her. We have received several memorial donations and will forward the list soon.

To the Morley family,I am so very sorry for your loss. Your mom was a very special lady.I work at the Vestal nursing center on the unit next to where your mom was. I would see her setting in the hall and I would stop to talk with her, she always had a smile on her face. I am really going to miss her.

To the Morley Family, I am so sorry to hear about your mom, she was just a great neighbor to my grandparents and parents, I truly enjoyed visiting her on the porch when I was much younger.
She can now join all of the old neighbors and your great dad.

Morley family,
