Rector, Ella Mae

Endwell: Ella Mae Rector went to be with the Lord on March 23rd at Absolut Care in Endicott. She was predeceased by her husband, Charles Rector; father, Ira Dixson; mother, Una Dixson; sisters, Margaret Cross, Beverly Pedro; brother, Robert Dixson; niece, Deborah Burgett and also a special friend, Steve Mayday. Ella is survived by her sisters, Eva Klimchuck of Endwell and Rose Burgett of Laguna Woods, California. She is also survived by a special niece, Sheila Valentino (Joe), many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Ella enjoyed working in her yard and the love of her life was caring for her two dogs and taking them for long walks. You would always see her helping her neighbors. She also was an avid Bingo player. She was a member of Central Methodist Church. Her family would like to thank Dr. Patel and his wonderful staff on the 3rd Floor of Absolut Care of Endicott. There could not have been a more loving, caring and compassionate care for our sister. You are very special people. Funeral Services for Ella will be held at 8:00 p.m. on Friday at the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, 300 E. Main St., Endicott. The Rev. Mark B. Marino will officiate.
