Eric Bixby Obituary
"Big E"
Susquehanna, PA: Eric James Bixby, 37, of Starrucca Creek Road, passed away tragically after an accident on Saturday, September 27, 2014. Eric was survived by his loving wife of 12 years, Jennifer L. Bixby (Brown); two sons, Brandon Saddlemire and Michelle Batson and Carter James Bixby; mother, Terri Bixby and Matt Frailey; father, John (Wally) and Sharon Bixby; maternal grandfather, Robert Fisk; paternal grandmother, Ellen Bixby; brothers and sisters, Jason and Diana Bixby, John Bixby, Tyler and Shannon Bixby, Alisha Bixby and Luke Deleskiwicz, Jill and Chris DeHaven and Justine and Frank Larsen; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Oscar and Kathleen Miller; sisters-in-law, Terrie Brown and Michael Hinkley and Kristen and Chad Towner; brother-in-law, Billy and Sinead Brown; grandchildren, Cadence Bastedo, Addison Bastedo, and Lyla Jolynn Saddlemire; several loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Eric was a very loving and devoted son, husband, brother, father, and friend. He loved being with "His Bride" Jennifer, hunting with his sons, and having jam sessions with his family. There was never a time that he wasn't reciting lines from old movies. Eric was a hard worker and loved being involved with heavy equipment operating and driving truck. He was a member of the American Legion Post 86 and the Moose Lodge #794, both of Susquehanna. Eric worked for several years for FCI Freight and currently worked as a heavy equipment operator at Equipment Transport, LLC, and drove school bus for Miller Busing on his days off. Eric enjoyed spending time around the campfire. He was a master at the grill and shared story after story, making us all laugh and smile. He will be dearly missed by all of us. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, October 2, 2014, at 10:00 a.m. at the Hennessey's Funeral Home, 747 Jackson Ave., Susquehanna, PA, with Rev. David Cramer officiating. Interment will be in the McKune Cemetery, Susquehanna, PA. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 1, 2014, from 5 to 8 p.m.

A friend forever gone in the flesh but ALIVE in SPIRIT! Praise God...may the glory be His. Eric was a long known friend I'm thankful to say I had the pleasure knowing.
