Frank V. Saraceno
of Binghamton
Frank V. Saraceno, 86, passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, November 12, 2003. He was predeceased by his wife, Marie L. Saraceno on March 14, 1996. He was also predeceased by his parents, Bruno and Theresa Saraceno; and sisters and brother, Frances Marano, Vinnie Fiordalice, Mary Amedeo, Pauline Lazzaro, and Demetrius (Memo) Saraceno. He is survived by his children, Frank and Paulette Saraceno, Endicott, Diane and Phil Guidici, Binghamton, Tom Saraceno, Binghamton; three grandchildren, Gregg Saraceno, Baltimore, Md., Frank Saraceno, Hoboken, N.J., and Marissa Ross, Chicago, Ill.; one sister and brother-in-law, Josephine (Pina) and Vincent (Jim) Russo, Binghamton; sister-in-law, Rose Jannone, Brick, N.J.; also many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was an Army Veteran of WWII, serving as a staff Sgt. Photographer in the Pacific Theater. Frank had the opportunity to photograph many famous people including, Bob Hope and Frank Sinatra, and the signing of the Peace Treaty to end the war with Japan. He was a photographer for over 40 years and the owner of Delmar Studio's. He was a member and usher at St. Mary of the Assumption Church. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday, November 17, 2003 at 8:45 a.m. at the James V. DeMarco & Son Funeral Home, 737 Chenango St., Port Dickinson, N.Y., and at 9:30 a.m. at St. Mary the Assumption Church, where a Funeral Mass will be offered. Entombment will be Calvary Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to call at the DeMarco & Son Funeral Home on Sunday, from 4 to 8 p.m. Memorial contributions in Franks memory may be made to St. Mary's Refurbishing Fund, or Soup Kitchen, 37 Fayette St., Binghamton N.Y. 13901.
