I was blown away to hear last night at the hockey game of Gary's passing. Gary was one of the reasons I looked forward to hockey each year. His sense of humor during good seasons and bad made for a fun experience for all of us around him. His invoking of the "visitor rule" made bad calls fun... And his infamous drawing of the ref with is head up his butt... well... it was what it was! And marvelous. My grandkids loved "the guy who tied our shoes together". He will be missed, but remembered for the fun that he brought.

To a man whose influence began early for me and continued with strength beyond his life. I hope to pass along our common passion to others as you had to me. As unapologetic as he was generous, he left us all wanting more, integrity intact. Always good for a laugh. You will always be remembered, fondly.
