I am so sorry to hear of Mrs. Eaton's passing. I grew up in Castle Creek and "we" all have fond memories of those years. She, my Mom, Mrs. Ross and Mrs. Brown helped all us girls with our 4-H projects. Janice my prayers to you and your family. jacki novitske-ponterio fl.

I worked with Gen when I first started at BPC. She was a very competent & thorough secretary & a pleasure to be around. All the doctors called her "Mrs. Eaton."

My thoughts and prayers go out to Gen's family. I used to be a member of CCUMC before I moved to Raleigh, NC. Al Eaton and my grandfather, Willis Eaton were cousins. I loved Gen (and Al) and remember her fondly as a faithful servant of Christ who loved serving others. I know they both have found their home in heaven with our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and one day, by His grace we will join them. God Bless,

We are keeping all of the Eaton family in our thoughts and prayers. Gen and Al will always hold a special place in our hearts as they were such a presence in our lives through the Castle Creek Methodist Church. May the special memories you have of Gen comfort you during this difficult time.

Kind sympathies to the family. Gen was very kind to my parents through their affiliation with UMC Castle Creek. As a high school classmate of Bill, I have fond memories of spending time in their home. May God bless you.

I knew Al and Gen through Masons. Like everyone else, I felt that there were no sweeter people than the Eatons. I know they are together now.

It was sad to get the word that Gen is no longer with us.I have some good memories of her and Al. I will miss her great letters with family news and all the latest about Castle Creek. It won't be quite the same when I come back to visit. One of my fun recent memories was sitting with Al & Gen at church and then out to eat with them and Madge Hawkes.I sure got quite a history lesson! I was able to talked to her on the phone just recently. She was a great help with my gathering of our shared family history information. She was such an asset to family and the community.

I met Aunt Gen and Uncle Al for the first time at the funeral of my grandfather, Uncle Al's brother Carl Eaton. We found that our wedding anniversaries were the same, December 31st, although 56 years apart! I sent them a Christmas card and note every year and enjoyed reading Aunt Gen's typewritten note in return. I never met their children or grandchildren, but it was fun to read about where they lived and how they were doing. So to the extended Eaton family I only met through words, please accept my sincere condolences and know that Uncle Al and Aunt Gen were very special to many, many people. They will be greatly missed.

I am one of Uncle Al & Aunt Gen's great niece. I am truly sorry to hear of her loss. I am very shocked and saddened to have looked in pressconnects site today and noticed that my great aunt has passed. I didnt see my dad's side of the family very much when I was younger but I always remembered Uncle Al and Aunt Gen. However, I am glad I got to see them a few years ago during my grandmothers funeral. They did so much for my grandmother (Leona), father (Ed), and uncle over the years. They were very special and kind people. They were also truly blessed to have each other and now they are together once again. Thanks for every thing Aunt Gen (& Uncle Al). May you R.I.P. and to the ones she left behind-take comfort because she is now home.

Al & Gen were our next door neighbors for several years in Castle Creek (we
lived in big white house to the left of their place). They were lovely folks and I always enjoyed talking with them and kidding Al about the deer. Gen was always ready to share her beautiful flowers with us. Our thoughts and prayers are with your entire family.

Gen was one of the sweetest women I have ever met. She loved the Lord, her church and family very much. She will be missed.
