My grandpa was a good man, as as I didnt have a father figure in my life, He and my other Grandfather were the closest I had. He taught me a lot about the outdoors and things like using the fourwheeler and lawnmower. I remember my first trip out hunting with my Uncle Jake and my grandpa. This was about when he first got sick. I'm never going to forget the times he was up at our house mowing the lawn or doing tons of other stuff outside. And oh how much he loved my chickens, even though I "never fed them enough." Always in my heart and the hearts of the rest of my family.

When I was 12 years old as a paper boy I used to get my Binghamton press papers at the east side fire station. I only remember the picture of Gordon as a fireman. He was one of the kindest firemen at the station. He always treated me great and was a fun person to get to know. I am now 72 but you always remember the good people in your life even when 60 years have passed. Jim Seaman Bellbrook, Ohio

Uncle Gordy is among the earliest memories of my life. I will always remember his kind nature, patriotism, passion for life and love for dogs. He always had a Canine with him (Sadie, Henry, Levi to name a few). He handled his last days with Courage , Dignity and Class. We will miss him.

So sorry to hear of Mr.Zumbach's death. He was a wonderful man to have known. He took good care of his neighbor and my grandmother (Eleanor Bozewicz). Will never forget the conversations they used to have sitting on her porch. You will be missed.

Thinking of you during this difficult time and sending prayers your way. Gordy was always such a sweet man and always welcomed us into his home. He had a smile on his face at all times even when he had to deal with us as teenagers. Much love

Dear Zumbach Family,

You are in our thoughts as you move through this difficult time. May fond memories comfort you. I am so glad that we got to spend time together on Broad Avenue last year. Gordie was so admired by the "little Rozelle girls", even dancing with us at Art and Sally's wedding! I am happy to have shared those memories with him a few years ago. His legacy will live on. Warmest Aloha,
