Irene Pedo Obituary
Johnson City: Irene went to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 1, 2015. Born in 1927 to Stephen and Maria (Sedlak) Trencansky. She was a sister to Steve, Paul, John, Olga and Helen. She was the wife of Paul Pedo who died in 1970. She is survived by her daughter Paula Pedo and 3 beloved dogs. She was employed by EJ before working at IBM where she retired from in 1987. Irene was a member of the quarter century club. After retiring she enjoyed traveling, gardening and oil painting. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday at 9:30AM at the St. James Church, 155 Main St, Johnson City with Father John Donovan officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to any animal charity of your choice. Arrangements have been made through the Barber Memorial Home, Inc., 428 Main St, Johnson City.

Dear Paula: I am so very for your loss. I knew your Mother from IBM, Owego, & although I never worked with her, some of us girls met for lunch, & shared so many memories. My PRAYERS are with you at this time

Paula, Am so sorry to read of Irene's passing. I remember her from when I was a younger; how friendly and warm she always seemed. My mom, Avis Shaul, thought the WORLD of your Mom. The stories she would tell!! I remember both of you coming to visit and the time they would have. Irene and you are special people to our family. Always have been. Mom would be so happy and excited knowing Irene was to visit. Well, I am quite sure they are visiting now, laughing, joking, shedding a few tears and being young again. Keep the beautiful memories of your wonderful mother close. She is such a blessing. Much love and prayers to you.
