Jacqueline S. Foley
of Vestal
Jacqueline S. Foley, 55, of Vestal passed away peacefully at home with her family at her side after a courageous battle with multiple sclerosis on Wednesday evening, June 25, 2003. She is a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother who will always be with our family in spirit. Her kindness and devotion will be carried in our hearts. She was predeceased by her parents, Otto and Margaret Sukup. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 34 years, Chris Foley, Vestal; a daughter and son-in-law, Erin and Kevin Plessinger, Vestal; a son and daughter-in-law, Ryan and Karen Foley, Vestal; two very special grandchildren, Jacqueline and Garrett Plessinger; a brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Barbara Sukup, Carlsbad, Calif.; an aunt, Elaine Kralovic, Binghamton; her mother-in-law, Arlene Foley, Binghamton; a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Susan and Thomas Stroup, Millbrook, N.Y.; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Richard and Charlene Foley, Great Falls, Mont., also several important nieces and cousins. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Vestal. She was a 1965 graduate of Johnson City High School and a 1967 graduate of the Dental Hygiene Program at BCC.
Funeral services will be held at Grace Lutheran Church, 709 Main St., Vestal, N.Y. Monday, at 11 a.m. The Rev. David Heitner, interim pastor of her church, will officiate. Burial will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the J.F. Rice Funeral Home, Inc., 150 Main St., Johnson City, N.Y., Sunday from 5 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, those wishing may make memorial contributions to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Upstate NY Chapter, 457 State St., Binghamton, NY 13901 in Jacqueline S. Foley's memory.
