Jamie Rae Rudnitsky, 29, of Otego, New York, passed unexpectedly Tuesday, February 27, 2007, from injuries sustained in an auto accident in the Town of Sidney. She was born January 24, 1978 in Sidney, New York, the daughter of David R. and Linda Finch Rudnitsky. Jaime attended the Gilbertsville Mt. Upton Schools until her sophomore year. She graduated from the Warrensburg, Missouri High School. Moving back to the area, Jaime was employed at A. O. Fox Nursing Home, Oneonta, N.Y. She is survived by her father, David R. Rudnitsky and his wife, Karen, Gilbertsville, N.Y.; her mother, Linda Henchey and her husband, Patrick, Warrensburg, Missouri; special friend and companion, Jamie Barnett and his daughter, Emily, Otego, N.Y.; three sisters, Kelli Henchey, Warrensburg, Missouri, Brittney and Jenna Rudnitsky both of Gilbertsville, N.Y.; two brothers, Matthew Rudnitsky, Gilbertsville, N.Y. and Dylan Henchey, Warrensburg, Missouri; maternal grandmother, Janet Rude, Sidney, N.Y.; maternal grandfather, Howard Finch and his wife, Jimmie, Walton, N.Y.; paternal grandparents, Stuart and Venie Rudnitsky, Unadilla, N.Y.; paternal grandmothers, Jean Smith, Gilbertsville, N.Y. and Ellen Henchey, Warrensburg, Missouri. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends are invited to call from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 5, 2007, at the Gilbertsville Baptist Church with her family in attendance. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. at her church with Pastor Randy Palada, officiating. Burial will be held at a later date in the Brookside Cemetery, Gilbertsville, N.Y. Memorial gifts in her name may be directed to the patient care fund at A.O. Fox Nursing Home, 1 Norton Avenue, Oneonta, N.Y. 13820. Arrangements are under the direction of the C.H. Landers Funeral Chapel, 21 Main Street, Sidney, N.Y.
