Joan Deyo Obituary
of BinghamtonJoan Burlingham Deyo, 78, passed away Monday, December 26, 2005, at Binghamton General Hospital. She was predeceased by her husband, James A. Deyo. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Constance Ruth and Jerry Brian East, 5501 Wendy Lee Dr., Titusville, Fla. 32780; one sister and brother-in-law, Nancy and James Caffery, Roseville, Calif.; also several nieces, nephews. Joan graduated from West Jr., Binghamton Central High and Edgewood Park finishing school. During her school years she was a model for Ansco Film. She used to be an avid golf and tennis player. Joan was a member of the Junior League for over 30 years, and a past member of the Monday Afternoon Club. She was also a regular customer at Pancho's Pit on Riverside Dr. and Cavanaugh's Store on Leroy St.
A private memorial service will be held during the summer. In lieu of flowers, those wishing may make memorial contributions to the Humane Society, 2 Jackson St., Binghamton, N.Y. 13903. Arrangements by the Ernest H. Parsons Funeral Home, Inc.
