John Gabriel Obituary

Gabriel, John Russell

Vestal: John Russell Gabriel, age 54, of Vestal, died peacefully on April 4, 2014 following a brief illness. John was predeceased by his father, William R. Gabriel Sr. John is survived by the love of his life, Donna; his mother, Carol; his daughter, Tanya; and his brother, Bill and Bill's wife, Norma. John is also survived by Eva and George, Mark and Renee, Crystal; 11 grandchildren and numerous other friends and family. John served our country as a member of the United States Army. Those lucky enough to have John cook their dinner knew why he was dubbed "The Grillmaster." A memorial service will be held for John on Wednesday, April 9, 2014, at 6 p.m. at the Wm. R. Chase & Son Funeral Home, 737 Chenango St., Port Dickinson. For those who wish to make donations, please send in honor of John's memory to the staff of ICU at UHS.
