John was predeceased by his wife, Mary Gorman Kakusian in August 2005; sister, Louise Kakusian Rockwell and her husband, Howard Rockwell; and his brother, Samuel Kakusian. John is survived by a very special nephew, his namesake, John M. Kakusian and Monique Gorman wish to thank their friends and family who have been so supportive in their celebration of John and Mary Kakusian's lives. We were truly blessed and wish to acknowledge and give special thanks to Ann and Ray Denniston, the staff of Binghamton General Hospital and most especially the staff at Fairview Good Shepherd who were exceptionally compassionate.

It was with dismay to learn John was no longer with us in the present, but will always be with us in spirit. Jonn, and Tom , George and I played cards for many years at lunch time at Vail-Ballou, I took golf lessons with a pro and John was courteous on the golf course as well as in his entire life that I knew him. John will be missed!

On behalf of the Jewish Community Center, I want to express our sympathy on John's passing. John was a long time friend and member of the JCC in Vestal, visiting almost daily with his friends. He will be missed by "old timers".
