John Jack Lennon Sr.

John Jack Lennon Sr., 91, of Johnson City died at his home on Tuesday, October 12, 2010. He was predeceased by his wife Jane Conklin Lennon; sister Mary Bellew; brother Cyril Lennon. He is survived by his sons, John Lennon Jr. of Johnson City, Michael and Linda Lennon of Endicott; grandchildren, Jenna, Michael, Matthew Sean and Kali; several nieces, nephews and special neighbors Bill, Karen and Melody. He retired from Kemper Insurance after 35 years of service. He was a veteran of WWII, serving in the Army and was a recipient of the bronze star. He was an avid lover of sports. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family. The Rev. Christine Day, Rector of All Saints Episcopal Church will officiate. Burial will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park. Arrangements are by the Barber Memorial Home, Inc. 428 Main Street, Johnson City.
