Joseph Eck Obituary
Endicott - Joseph A. Eck, 71, of Endicott, NY died peacefully at UHS Wilson Medical Center on August 3, 2018 after a brief illness. He is predeceased by his parents: Ted and Bessie Eck; brothers: Ted (Maxine) and Bernie Eck; sisters: Dottie Phelps and Mary Peters Kinney. He is survived by his three sisters: Peggy Depew, Barb (Ray) Beebe, and Betty (Tom) Rando; sister-in-law, Marilyn Eck; brother-in-law, Jerry Phelps; several nieces and nephews; and the love of his life, Betsy Osha. Joe served in the US Army, attaining the rank of Sergeant. He was a quiet man who was most proud of his career as a chef. At his request, there will be no funeral services.

I met Joe when he moved to West Cornwall. He was kind, funny, talented and he had a voice I will never forget. We cooked together at The Corner Restaurant for a little while. He liked by many . Many of them are with him now.
Rest In Peace Joe, I hope we meet in the next place.

My condolences to your family. I was sad to hear the news today of Joe's passing. He was a customer of mine at a local store. He was a very friendly and kind man. I will miss talking to him about his love for bird watching because it always reminded me of my Mom and her love for birds all of her life. He will be missed.
