Lawrence S. Miller, MD
of Vestal
Lawrence S. Miller, MD, 42, passed away Tuesday, September 19, 2006, at Lourdes Hospital. He was predeceased by his father, Martin Miller; his grandfathers, Sidney Chertoff and David Miller; a grandmother, Lillian Miller. He is survived by his wife, Karen Miller; two children, Evan and Sari; a brother, Stephen; a sister, Jodi; his mother, Cheryl; grandmother, Jean Chertoff. Larry attended Binghamton University and received a degree in Biochemistry; he also received his medical degree in 1989 from New York Medical College, Valhalla. He did his residency at Lenox Hill Hospital. Larry then moved to Binghamton in 1995 and worked at UHS, and in 1998 he started his own practice. He was Chief of Urology for UHS, and Chief of Surgery at Lourdes, and was published in the Journal of Urology. Larry adored his children and they were the life of his life. Larry, we will always love you and you will always be in our hearts forever.
Funeral Service will be held Thursday at 4:30 p.m. at Temple Concord, 9 Riverside Drive, Binghamton. Rabbi David Katz will officiate. Burial will be at New Montifiore, Long Island. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Lust Garden Foundation (for pancreatic cancer research), 1111 Stewart Ave., Beth Page, N.Y. 11714. Arrangements by the Ernest H. Parsons Funeral Home, Inc.
