Lena Mary (Stefano) Sloma
of EndicottLena Mary (Stefano) Sloma, passed away on Saturday, March 26, 2005, at Wilson Memorial Hospital. She was predeceased by her husband, William Sloma in 1997; her parents, Frank and Rose Stefano; brothers, Albert Stefano and Alan Stevens; brother and sister-in-law, Anthony and Joyce Stefano; brother-in-law Art DiTommaso. She is survived by her children, William Sloma, Shelburne, Vt., Richard and Julie Sloma, Essex, Vt., Joni and Alan Hall, Lake Havasu City, Ariz., David and Donna Sloma, Cary, N.C.; grandchildren, Gavin and Nathan Sloma, Shelburne, Vt., Ian, Erik and David Hall, Lake Havasu City, Ariz. Matthew and Christopher Sloma, Cary, N.C., Michelle and Nathan Henderson, Jeffersonville, Vt., Teri and Jeff Christ, Tampa, Fla., Robert Sweet and Lara Merchant, Montpelier, Vt., Joshua and Samuel Druckerman, Essex, Vt.; great-grandchildren, Kyle Christ, Emmalee Henderson, and Alanna Sweet; brothers and sisters, Charles Stefano, Endwell, Mary DiTommaso, Endwell, Fred and Chris Stevens, Calif., Joseph and Rose Stevens, Calif., John and Jan Stevens, Binghamton, Margaret and Frank Mistretta, Vestal, James Stevens, Calif.; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, John and Ann Sloma, Binghamton, Mike Sloma, Binghamton, Fred Pospisil, Chenango Bridge, Helen Valachovic, Johnson City; also good friend, Dorothy Blanchette, Vestal; and many nieces and nephews. Lena was a wonderful loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, mother-in-law and friend. She was a retired employee of E. J. Corp and a member of St. Anthony of Padua Church.
Funeral services are pending at the James V. DeMarco & Son Funeral Home, 737 Chenango St., Port Dickinson, N.Y. Contributions in Lena's memory may be made to St. Anthony's Church, 306 Odell Avenue, Endicott, N.Y. 13760. The family would like to thank the staff of ICU at Wilson Memorial Hospital for their care.
