Mahlon Mosher-Marsh Obituary
Owego: Mahlon Christopher Mosher-Marsh, 16, New Milford, PA, passed away Tuesday, December 11, 2012 due to a tragic train accident. Mahlon was predeceased by his Grand Dad, Joseph Karpinski; Papa and Grandma, Ron and Patsy Marsh; uncle, Russ. He is survived by his parents, Tammy and Michael Marsh; sister, Megan Middleton; brother, Matthew Middleton; maternal grandmother, Joann Jordan; aunt and uncle, Holly Mosher and Elmer Shugars; Mahlon was the proud uncle of Brooklyn, Ethan and Autumn. He loved wrestling, running and working out. He will be remembered for his upbeat personality and his gift of making new friends. Mahlon loved to get people's attention. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 15, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 15 Park St., Owego with the Rev. David C. Seaver, officiating. Burial will be in Texas. The family will receive friends Saturday from 12:00 Noon to 1:45 p.m. prior to the services at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made in Mahlon's memory to: Autism Society, 4340 East-West Hwy, Suite 350, Bethesda, MD 20814. Condolences may be made to Mahlon's family at www.emfaheyfuneralhome.com

Mahlon... It has been a year today since you were taken from all of us to make your way to heaven. I cannot believe it has been so long... Every night at practice it still feels like yesterday once we walk through those doors. You are still in each and every one of our hearts. This year is for you, bud! We are going to go all the way and win leagues, with you in our hearts the entire time. We all miss you and wish we could have gotten to know you better, you were a great guy! I hope you are enjoying yourself up there, handsome!(: KEEP FLYIN' HIGH!

To his family, He is your guardIan angel. He will tuck you under his wing, and protect you and guide you to the right decisions in life. There had to be a plan as to why God wanted him. And it is most likely that he had accomplished his goal in life, which was to touch the lives of others. He is in a better place now. Not suffering. He is happy there. He doesn't want you down and upset. Remember the good times, and the love.

I did not personally know Mahlon but my son is on the wrestling team and has met him. Wish I had that chance to meet him,too. Sounds like he was a wonderful young man and will be missed by many. Mahlon was such a great friend and person.. so kind, polite and warm hearted.. i remeber when he first came to Blue Ridge, i showed him around and we were friends ever since that... its hard now that hes gone, but i know it'll get better in time. <3 R.I.P Mahlon missed and never ever forgotten!! <3

Such a tragedy, my heart goes out to all those close to Mahlon. I never got to meet him but would have considered it an honor. Keep his memories close and know that he is above you watching over you all. Heaven must have needed an angel :)

I will never forget Mahlon. He was only with us at Blue Ridge for a very short time, but what an impression he made! He was a gentleman in every sense of the word. He was a gentle soul and had the manners of a true gentleman. I will miss my encounters with him as they were a highlight of my day and I feel honored to have met Mahlon. My most sincere sympathy in this tragic loss of your son.

Rest Easy Mahlon. You were a great person, I loved being your wrestling manager. It is so hard to believe that such an amazing young man has been taken away from us.
