Martha Kostun Obituary
of Binghamton - Martha Kostun, of Binghamton, 77, beloved mother, baba and cousin, passed away at home on Thursday, May 10, in Binghamton, NY. Martha is survived by her son, Michael Correa, his wife Amanda and their children, Michael and Madison. Martha is also survived by her cousins, the Pandich family: Michael, Janice, Lynne (Deamer), Kathleen, Julie (Wyatt), Richard, Francis and Andrew; and many other cousins and friends. Martha graduated from the Binghamton State Hospital School of Nursing and spent her life helping people as a registered nurse. A devoted Catholic, Martha will be celebrated with a mass at St. Francis of Assisi at 1031 Chenango St, Binghamton, NY, 13901 on Tuesday, May 15 at 10:00 a.m. Those wishing kindly consider memorial contributions in Martha's name to Missionaries of the Heart of Jesus, Sr. Brigid O"Mahony Providence House 396 Conklin Ave. Binghamton, NY 13903, [email protected]

My dear friend "Marty"...we went through nursing school together and became apartment mates after graduation. Oh, what fun we had!! Marty was my Maid of Honor when I married my husband in 1962. I truly loved her and will continue to love her. I will miss our phone conversations and how much we laughed about our past experiences. She was an incredible mother and always told me how devoted she was to her son Michael. My condolences to the family you loved so much.
Marty...I will miss you terribly. I will be in touch!!

Sorry for your loss. I was a neighbor of Martha's and also remember her from Dr. Weiss office in Binghamton when I was young and going through allergy shots. She was very kind and understanding, I'll not forget that.
