Mary Gunderman Obituary
formerly of PhiladelphiaMary Moravec Gunderman, 80, passed away on Friday, February 21, 2003, at the Vestal Nursing Center. She was predeceased by her husband, Virgil; and her sister, Anna Demetros. She is survived by her children, William and Janice Gunderman, Philadelphia, Virginia and Raymond Owens, Binghamton, Thomas and Eileen Gunderman, Little Meadows, and Mary and James Miller, Philadelphia; eight grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Irene Lee, Endicott, and Frances and Jack Hounslow, Calif.; several nieces and nephews. Mary's family would like to extend their thanks to the staff and many friends at the Vestal Nursing Center for their loving care.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, at 9 a.m., at the Bednarsky Funeral Home, Inc., 96 Glenwood Ave., Binghamton, with the Rev. John E. Mikalajunas officiating. Burial will be in Spring Forest Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
