Michael J. (Mickey) Drobak, 66, went to be with his parents, Mike and Mary; and his sister, Barbara Paterson, Thursday, November 15, 2007. He leaves his wife of 46 years, Cecil; their five children, Ronald and Lauri Drobak, Fulton, Ill., Teri and Earl Humphrey, Whitney Point, Robert, Michael C. and William Drobak, Binghamton; three grandchildren, Nicholas Humphrey, Joshua and Desiree Humphrey, and Jessica Humphrey and fiance, Ryan Buchman; four great-grandchildren, Bethany, Julianna, Paige and Damien Humphrey; sister, Patricia Drobak; aunt and uncle, Mike and Lulu Brechko and their families. He worked at A.M. Pierson's, starting in 1957 as a driver, newspaper and warehouse manager, until the business was sold and closed. He then worked as a driver for Rezenberg and also United Auto Supply, until he became ill. He enjoyed bowling in the Fireman's Wed. League at Town & Country, as well as the Friday night early league at State Bowling. He also enjoyed golfing at Chenango Bridge on the Thursday night league. He was a member of the Holy Spirit Church all of his life and was an altar boy from 7 years old throughout his teen years.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 9:15 a.m. from the Wm. R. Chase & Son Funeral Home, 737 Chenango Street, Port Dickinson, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Spirit Church.
