Michael Steinbrecher Obituary

Michael (Jim) Steinbrecher
of Windsor
Michael (Jim) Steinbrecher, 65, passed away Saturday, September 21, 2002. He was predeceased by one sister and four brothers. He is survived by his loving wife and best friend, Jean (Wiggins); two stepsons, Richard VanVorce and Jacob VanVorce; sisters and brothers-in-law, Iona and Tim Sickles, Wanda and Raymond Osterhout; brother and sister-in-law, Earl and Marcia Steinbrecher; sister-in-law, Beverly Steinbrecher; several nieces, nephews; and special friends, John Adamosky and Dan Wilcinsky. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, and a member of the Masons #702. He was also a member of the Union International Association of Bridge Structural and Ornamental Ironworkers. He loved to hunt and fish. A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, 11 a.m. at Wm. R. Chase & Son Funeral Home, 88 Chapel St., Windsor with Rev. John Goodell officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home Monday from 4 to 7 p.m. A Masonic service will be held at 6 p.m. Burial will be at the Knox Cemetery at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, those wishing kindly consider memorial contributions to Lourdes Hospice, 169 Riverside Dr., Binghamton, N.Y. 13905 or Kalurah Temple AAOMS, 626 Dickson St., Endicott, N.Y. 13760 in Michael's name.
