Miranda N. Larnerd
of Montrose, PA
Miranda N. Larnerd, age 14, of Montrose, PA went home to be with the Lord unexpectedly Wednesday, April 22, 2009. She is survived by her parents, Richard Larnerd, Montrose, PA, Debbie Larnerd, Tioga Center, NY; four brothers, Kyle, Zachary, Marcus, and Alan Jr.; one sister, Stormi; her paternal grandparents, Richard Larnerd, Greene, NY, Kaye Ferguson, Richmond, VA; her maternal grandparents, Chester Zamskie, Oklahoma, Sigrid Zamskie, Colorado; her special stepfamily; her aunts and uncles, Sandra Arnold, Nan Tomchick, Dan, Steve, and David Larnerd, and Jack Zamskie; nieces, Natalie and Kristina; nephew, Nicholas; also several cousins and friends who loved her. Miranda was a ninth grade student at Tioga Central High School. She excelled at track and field, soccer and basketball. She loved to sing, was very active socially and had a large circle of friends. "If you want to see a rainbow, you must go through the rain."
A memorial service for Miranda will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 29, 2009, at The Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, Inc., 300 E. Main St, Endicott. Interment will be at the family's convenience. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday, April 28, 2009, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, those wishing may make contributions in Miranda's memory to the charity of ones choice.

Baby Gurl,
It's been several weeks and I still don't know what to do. I'm trying to be strong and keeping in touch with your brothers daily helps but I still miss YOU!! Sometimes I think that you are just visiting a friend and you'll be back soon but then the picture of you (in my mind) in the coffin brings me back to reality. I am praying to you my baby angel, please send me some of your strength to hang on. I know I can't leave your brothers, please help me! God did not make us rock hard solid strong, he made us human with feelings and he's supposed to help carry us through. Please let him know I need to be carried right now. Please, baby gurl, help me! I miss you sooooo much!!! My favorite quote that I found on your bedroom wall is "As I gaze upon your smile, I think to myself, I've never seen an angel fly so low!" I'm always looking for my baby gurl's smile.

Out of all that we have been throught..it hurts that i wasnt there at the end. With everything when we were children from swinging on the grape vines to making up our own games. Miranda you were like a sister to me. You always knew how to help make my day a whole lot better. From picking flowers and leaves outside when we were supposed to be running for gym. Debbie, through your unfortunate tragedy you have become like a sister to me, I just want you to know that I will be here for you through thick and thin when ever you need me. Miranda, we all miss you so much. You'll forever be in our hearts here at Elk Lake, and everyone is hurting. I remember one time on the bus, you stood up for me, and became like a big sister to me. I'll forever remember and love you for that. I can remember when you & Melissa would sit on the bus and listen to "Nobody's Perfect" by Hannah Montana. You guys would bang your heads back and forth on the "1, 2, 3, 4's" with your hair flying everywhere. That song is hard to listen to now, but that thought still makes me smile. Alan - Miranda always spoke so highly of you all the time. I will always think of her bubbly personality and her voice that sang like an angel.
