Hello,
We apologize for being so late in expressing our deepest condolences to you and your family. We want to let the Wilson Family know that we have donated 50 of our campaign patches to the crew of the USSNY to honor and remember Nicholas Wilson US Navy Petty Officer 2nd Class (AO2) EOD. We have also made a donation to the Navy Special Operations Foundation in his name.
We have been and will continue to place a flag in his honor each year on Memorial Day Weekend at our "Field of Flags" event, held under the Verrazano Bridge, next to Fort Hamilton in Brooklyn and at each location where we conduct this memorial.
We recognize that these are humble tributes, but we wanted you to know that each is heartfelt and made possible by thousands of like-minded individuals across the American youth hockey community and beyond. We will not forget. May God Bless you and keep you safe and strong.
Sincerely,
Charlie Gili & Family
