Olga Johnston Obituary
Formerly of Vestal: Olga R. Johnston, age 88, of Painesville, OH, passed away at her home Tuesday, November 12, 2013. Olga was born March 19, 1925. She is predeceased by her parents, Michael and Vera Alex; brother, Albert Alex and husband, SUNY Binghamton Professor Everett C. Johnston. She is survived by her children, Cheryl Johnston, Michael (Cyndi) Johnston, Barbara (William) Mooney and step-sons, Jack and James Stelts; grandchildren, Billy (Lisa), Steven (Leah), Brandon, Tiffany, Dustin and Christian; two great grandchildren, Nathan and Madison Mooney of Johnson City. Olga worked at GE in Westover while residing in Vestal with her husband of 53 years. There will be no services.

My sincerest sympathies to Olga's family. I served on the Neighboring Board with her and enjoyed her treats that she would bake for us! She was a wonderful and inspiring lady.

So sorry to hear Olga has passed away. She had not been able to come to the lunch bunch in several years. And in July we disbanded. I miss talking to her. She was a great asset to Lake Co. Hold her close in your memories.
