Pauline St. Pierre
formerly of Owego
Pauline St. Pierre died Sunday, February 12, 2006, in Valley Hospital, Ridgewood, New Jersey, after a brief illness. She is survived by two sisters, Frances Shady, Candor, N.Y., and Laura Marcincin, Saddle Brook, N.J.; also by her nieces and nephews, Edward (Kay) Winnick, Constance Brown, Laurie (Gordon) Myer, Joseph (Elaine) Marcincin, Lorraine (Wayne) Pruitt, Bob (Donna) Shady, and Jeanette (George) Shady Ridenour. Pauline was born in Jeddo, Pa. In her childhood, the family moved to Candor, N.Y. She graduated from the Owego Free Academy in 1935 and resided in Owego before making a permanent move to Saddle Brook, N.J., 35 years ago. She was employed in a supervisory role with Singer-Kearfott in Fairfield, N.J., prior to retirement. Pauline was a member of Regina Columbiettes of Clifton, N.J., the Rosary Society of St. Philip's R.C. Church in Saddle Brook, N.J., and the Rosary Society of St. Francis R.C. Church in Catatonk, N.Y. A Mass of Resurrection was celebrated at St. Philip's Church, Saddle Brook, on Saturday, February 18.
A Prayer Service will be held this Saturday, February 25, 10:00 a.m., at Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 15 Park Street, Owego, followed by interment at St. Patrick's Cemetery, West Main Street, Owego. Friends are invited to join the family in this final farewell. The family will always hold her dear and be inspired by her steadfast love of God and family.
