of BinghamtonPeter Biloz, 79, of Binghamton, died Wednesday, August 14, 2002 at Wilson Memorial Hospital. He was predeceased by a sister, Mary; and a brother, John, Jr. He is survived by his wife, Genevieve, Binghamton; his children, Anthony Furmangioni, Andrea Bowman, Peter Bowman and Michelle Bowman; a stepson, Greg Slodki and his wife Theresa; Conklin; his grandchildren including Michael, Matthew and Julianna Slodki; a sister, Helen B. Moore, Raleigh, N.C.; a brother and sister-in-law, Michael and Pat Biloz, Ft. Myers, Fla.; a sister, Sally George, Vestal; a sister, Stephanie Bilik, Endicott; and a sister-in-law, Shirley Biloz, Endwell; several nieces and nephews. He was a self employed Master Electrician in the area for many years. He was an Army veteran of WWII, where he received a unit commendation and the Purple Heart with Oak Leaf Cluster. In his youth, he excelled in football and basketball and later, became an avid fisherman. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 12 noon at the Thomas J. Shea Funeral Home, Inc., 137 Robinson St., Binghamton. Burial will be in Sts. Peter and Paul Byzantine Catholic Cemetery, Endicott at the convenience of the family. Friends are invited to call Saturday from 11 a.m. to 12 noon at the funeral home.
