Lasicki, Peter J.

Allentown, PA: Peter J. Lasicki, 52, of Allentown, died peacefully at home on Thursday, June 21, 2012. He was the loving husband of Carol (Scimia) Lasicki. Pete was born in Binghamton, NY to Dorothy and the late Clement Lasicki. He graduated with an MBA from Syracuse University. At the time of his death, he was employed by Dun & Bradstreet as Director/Leader of Sales Operations. His previous employers included Guardian Life Insurance and International Paper Co. He loved spending time with his family and enjoyed restoring old cars and playing golf. He was a parishioner at St. Thomas More Catholic Church. He will remain in the hearts of his family and many friends who loved and respected him. He was an inspiration to all who knew him. Survivors: In addition to his wife of 25 years, and his mother Dorothy, he is survived by his daughter Audrey; his son, Peter; brothers, Charles and Thomas; and sisters, Deborah and Therese. Services: Calling hours will be held Monday, June 25, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the J. S. Burkholder Funeral Home, 16th and Hamilton Sts., Allentown. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, June 26, at 10:00 a.m. at St Thomas More Catholic Church. Contributions: In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to St. Thomas More School Education Fund, 1040 Flexer Avenue, Allentown, PA 18103 to provide scholarships to families in need.
