Peter Phelps Obituary
of OwegoPeter T. Phelps, 18, of Owego, passed away on Tuesday, September 10, 2002 as a result of a motorcycle accident. He is survived by his parents, Craig and Kathy Phelps, Owego; sister and brother-in-law, Keely and David Brelsford, Catonsville, Md.; grandmother, Mary Jane Brown, Owego; several aunts, uncles and cousins. Peter was a member of the Owego Free Academy Class of 2002 and was attending Broome Community College. He was a baker for the family business. Peter enjoyed motorcycle riding, soaring, BMX and mountain biking, skiing and time spent with his family and friends. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2002 at 10 a.m. at the Estey & Munroe Funeral Home, 15 Park St., Owego, with the Rev. David C. Seaver, Chaplain of Spiritual Care at Lourdes Hospital, officiating. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery, Owego. The family will receive friends on Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Estey & Munroe Funeral Home, 15 Park St., Owego.
