Sorry to read about Jim's passing. We go all the way back to St. Mary's School . Sister Agnes Claire and Father Sinnet. The big thing between us was the fact that he was a Red Sox fan and I was a Dodger fan. Between us there was plenty of suffering at the hands of the Yankees. Glad he got his do being a Patriot fan. Still waiting for my Bears to make that kind of a run. Anyway, my prayers to all of his family and my he rest in peace with the Lord.

Very sad to hear the passing of Jim. I have known him all my life since I was born and stayed at my Aunts and Uncles house Gerry and Frank Rowe across the street from Jim on Mass Ave. I would always hear my Uncle Frank yell over to Jim.."How long Jim"?..He would respond.."Not long Frank"...I used to get a kick out of that. He always had a smile and a big hello whenever I ran into him. May he rest in Peace... my heartfelt sympathy goes out to the family.

Dear Aunt Bev and Lori and Tom and girls,
Uncle Jim was one of my favorite people in the world. He helped and encouraged me during my greatest need when i was taking care of my own Dad. I enjoyed our frequent phone calls with him and Bev. I always felt uplifted after them. He had a way of making every person feel special. He always told us DeLong kids how he remembered us as babies. Aunt Bev you and Uncle Jim were a sweet and loving couple. I will miss him greatly but know that you are in my heart as well and Lori you are in my heart as well also.
May your coming days treat you tenderly during this most sad of times. With all my love to you all.

Dear Bev ,Lori and family,
My heart goes out to you all, as I know what a wonderful man you have lost. Jim was a great friend, boss and human being. Always so upbeat and smiling. I will forever remember our friendship and the wonderful times , (even when we were doing inventory climbing shelving in the back room). He made it possible for us to have a funeral luncheon for my mother at St. James when her own church couldn't. All I had to do was call him and he took care of it all! Fly high my special friend and say "hey" (southern "hello") to the Lord for me! Til we meet again Jim..Love ya Diane and Gene

Dear Bev, Lori, Jan & Dave & Family, I was so shocked and saddened to learn of Jim's passing. Although I never had the good fortune of working for Jim at Sears, I worked there with him for 10 years, long ago. He was always so kind & friendly to me over the years. In the last few yrs. it was so nice of Jim & Bev to invite me to the Sears retirement lunches. It has meant so much to be included in these. I will miss Jim very much. The world was a better place with him in it. My Sincere Sympathy & Love to all of you.....Rick Hatch
