Richard Chase Obituary
of OwegoRichard J. Chase Sr., 73, of Owego, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, February 5, 2003. Mr. Chase is survived by his wife of 34 years, Gloria Chase; son and daughter-in-law, Richard James and Virginia Chase, Tulsa, Okla.; daughter, Joy Chase, Owego; four grandchildren, Tina, William, Jimmy, Jamison; several great-grandchildren; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Frank and Carol Chase, Brooktondale, N.Y., Rev. Martin and Barbara Chase, Way Cross, Ga.; sister, Mary Jane Fuller, Syracuse; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2003 at 12 noon at the Estey & Munroe Funeral Home, 15 Park St., Owego, with Pastor Mark Traver officiating. Burial will be in the Tioga Cemetery in the spring. The family will receive friends Saturday from 11 a.m. to 12 noon prior to the services. Memorial contributions may be made in Richard J. Chase Sr.'s memory to the the Christian Faith Center, Attention, Lift Fund, 28 Frederick St., Binghamton, N.Y. 13901.
