I was lucky enough with our friends to grow up with the LeStrange's, with Rita almost being our "second" mother. We always were at their house, Betty Cook and Doris Feheley were always there too. Whether it was watching TV on Saturday night, or taking Bob's car for a joy ride, her house was always open to us. Rita, Betty and Doris were all one of a kind type people, they raised their families the right way with not a lot of material items but a lot of love. Even though I have lost contact with the LeStrange's over the years, they are thought of often. My condolences to Mike, Denny and Paul.

We lived next to Mrs. Lestrange on Bennett Ave for 10 years. She was a wonderful neighbor, and it was a pleasure to 'visit' with her and Mr. and Mrs. McGinnis across the fence in our back yards. She watched my girls grow from small children into teenagers and always complimented me on their good manners, and even though they would get loud and rambunctious at times, she always called them 'healthy kids with good lungs'..her way of letting me know they had big mouths! Mrs. Lestrange will be remembered fondly by the Edwards girls. Rest in peace.
