Becky, Rach and Samantha,
Just wanted to let you know that we're thinking of you and Bob as the third anniversary of his death approaches.

I found this poem and I wanted to share it. Every time that I read it I can't help but think of Bob. I miss him everyday.
If Tears Could Build A Stairway
If tears could build a stairway
And memories were a lane
We would walk right up to Heaven
And bring you back again
No farewell words were spoken
No time to say goodbye
You were gone before we knew it
And only God knows why
Our hearts still ache in sadness
And secret tears still flow
What it meant to lose you
No on will ever know
But know we know you want us
To mourn for you no more
To remember all the happy times
Life still has much in store
Since you’ll never be forgotten
We pledge to you today
A hallowed place within our hearts
Is where you’ll always stay

It seems like only yesterday you were here in your office trying to get some things done. I often sit and think of you, your laughter, big smile and the extragavant and lovely way you handled our tax payers. You will always hold a place in my heart and just knowing you has been a blessing in my life, we don't often run into a person such as Bob the friend, the father, the sportsnut and the husband. He was one of a kind. Miss him a lot.

Wendell,
It'll be a year tomorrow since you joined the big deer drive in the sky. A day dosen't pass without me thinking of you. I'll be home in a few weeks and me and Johnny will visit our spot in the woods we have to remember you by.

Here is to the Sparks 12th man....
Life is filled with Gifts, a Husband, a Wife, a Mother, a Father, a Son, a Daughter, a Sister, a Brother, and our FRIEND. As the Sparks family gathers together may we remember our Friend, standing on the sideline shouting, and cheering for each and every Spark. The man with a scare from a HEART that was too big for his chest. May there be a part of our Friend in all of Us. And know that the greatest accomplishments in our livies, are that of your children. He was the first to say Great Game to the Coach and each Spark as they made their way across the field.
Take a moment and listen this Saturday, as you will hear his voice applauding the Sparks every move. Specifically the one that filled his heart with Love and Admiration. A Father proud to say thats my daughter, her name is Rachael and she won't let you get past her with the ball. We know your watching, we hear your voice, we want you to know You are Loved and Missed my Friend. And let me tell you these Girls are going to be GREAT.

To the Hamilin Family --
I was very sorry to learn of Bob's passing. I was in town for Bob's service, and you could tell from the people who attended and participated how loved Bob was. When he attended our class reunions (JCHS Class of '79) he was always the life of the party. He will be missed but never forgotten.
Sincerely,
Gary Stoddard

POEM OF LIFE
Life is but a stopping place,
A pause in what's to be,
A resting place along the road,
to sweet eternity.
We all have different journeys,
Different paths along the way,
We all were meant to learn some things,
but never meant to stay...
Our destination is a place,
Far greater than we know.
For some the journey's quicker,
For some the journey's slow.
And when the journey finally ends,
We'll claim a great reward,
And find an everlasting peace,
Together with the lord!
~May you find peace and love in the memories you cherish~
We wish we could be there to share all the memories we have of Bob. We will, along with everyone, miss him dearly.

Becky and family,
Although I have not met you I feel I know so much about you. Bob talked a lot about his family at our discussions at the Town of Nanticoke. These last few weeks I had seen Bob through times and sent him home to rest. I must tell you though what an God Given honor it was to know Bob. He was so willing to go an extra mile for anyone. He was always there if you needed help. He was so kind to all the people in the Town. He helped them out in anyway he could. The Town will find it difficult to fill his position. I will always hold his memory close to my heart. Knowing him has been a true blessing through his gentleness in a time of need, his friendship and his smile. I pray that now God will see all of you through this time. Bless You.

My deepest sympathy to the Hamlin Family.
Bob was a very loving Father ,husband and all around good man. It is ashame that the good die young.
I must share this story with Bob's family.
When my Mother died I was 10 yrs old. Sister Anne Paul at St James came up to me after her death and said to me "Your Mother was there for you before some of the time , now she can be there for you all the time" I believe this has been true throughout my life and I know that Bobby will be watching over his Daughters every second of thier lives.
May God Bless his soul.
Amen.
P.S. I am sorry I could not attend services I work in New Haven, CT. and do not have the time to take off, but my thoughts and prayers go out to all of you.
