Seven years without you doesn't seem possible. Not a day goes by without me reflecting on what you and mom did for me. You were true examples of what unconditional love is. I look up to you every time I have a tough decision and I know you are always right there with me. I miss your words of wisdom. I miss you so much. I love you

To Bob's family and friends:

I am sorry to hear of Bob's passing. We were classmates at St. James for 8 years ('44-'51) and in the Boy Scouts at the Blessed Sacrament later. He was easy to like. I recall, in the 4th grade (I think) when he was hit by a car and was subsequently accompanied to school by Red Lakata, a well-known J.C. basketball player, for quite a while.

May he rest in peace and may all his loved ones dwell on the good memories of a fine man.

I am very sorry for your loss, your family has had a couple of hard months this year. He was a very kind man and a good neighbor and he will always be remembered. I used to enjoy seeing him every morning when I dropped Carolyn off for your mother to babysit. Well at least he's with Joyce now, he probably missed her too much.

I've known Bob since I was a child when we used to go to the camp in Harpursville. I knew him when Joyce baby sat me as a toddler. I knew him going to school with Sue at St. James. I knew him as an adult as my boss when I worked as a bricky. I knew him at the bars he owned. I looked up to this grizzly bear of a man who was the most gentle easy going person I've ever known. Bob was a great Husband to his wife a great Father to his children, a wonderful Grand Father, and an absolutely fantastic friend. Bob you will be missed dearly by all who knew you. May your soul find peace with the heavenly Father above. Please say hello to my folks when you get there, after u reunite with Joyce of course:)
To all of Bobs family, my deepest condolences. Bob will be watching over all of you and this life really is short so you will reunite with him soon enough. God Bless all of you and thank you Mr Bobby Wescott for being the man you were. I'm proud to say you were a friend.
