My deep condolences, Mrs. Medwin. Although I never met your mother, she raised you and thus must have been a wonderful woman to whom I feel an indirect yet strong connection. I wish it could be through happier circumstances, but I would love to reconnect with you ([email protected]). I hope you are doing well.
All the best,
Nancy (Nussbaum) Friedland

My heartfelt condolences to all in the Medwin clan. As a child, I recall Ruthe and Mash (what all the cousins called him) as being the cool relatives--they always had time to engage and both were witty and full of great stories and a joy for life. My Dad (Max Braverman) always loved chatting business and shul with Mash and Ruthe was a godsend to my my Mom (Jean) especially in her later years. Just one call to her informed her of everyone's goings on and always lifted her spirits. I was lucky to view Ruthe and Mash enjoy simchas in California and am grateful for that. Their children and spouses are ALL gems and so devoted--my heart goes out to all of you and your children at this time of loss. May your memories of her be frequent and plentiful and I am comforted knowing that her persona will live on through her children and grandchildren.

I remember many good things about my sister Ruthie. She worked hard all her life. She and Morrie were kind to our parents and saw to it that they were well taken care of always. She was active in her Shul and kept in touch with her sisters Fran and me and her brother Morrie. She was a good and generous person and always had lots of friends. As a chubby teen I remember she always found big size clothes for me to wear. She tried to be good to everyone who needed her help. She was our family beauty and and never failed to help our parents. As sisters do, we had our differences but I always looked up to her and luved her and I will miss her. Bee Shore (Byrdie Bernsten)
