Dear Joan and family:
We are in Florida and just read about Sandy's passing -- he will be missed by many people but will be remembered by many more.
You and your family are in our prayers and we know that God will get you through this.
There's a story about a "Broken Chain" and it say that we never know when God will call our name. . . and the family chain is broken. It also says that as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again.
Remember, Sandy has just gone through another door. . . and you will meet again.

I worked with Sandy many years ago on the Bechlers at Amphenol. We had many good laughs together.
Also enjoyed the clam bakes at Sloops Grove. When all the Dept. 52 families got together.

Joan what can I say. I will never forget all the good times we had together with Bob and Linda. He was a true "Brother" that will be missed by everyone that he touched. A Mass will be said for Sandy at "Mary Queen of the Universe Shrine" here in Orlando. I pray for GOD to comfort you at this time

Dear Joan and family, Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you during this time of mourning and remembering. We have such happy memories of so many of life's events that we were able to share with you and Sandy. Sandy was always ready to help with anything that needed to be done - he was such a warm, caring, compassionate man - and was loved by the many people who's lives he touched. I know that Sandy and David are in heaven right now having a good laugh and watching over and protecting us. We love you and share in the loss of your beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather, uncle, and friend.

Dear Joan and family, I was deeply saddened to hear of Sandy's death. I hold some fond memories of him. He was a true gentleman and a stellar citizen of Oakland. I'm glad I got to visit with him this past summer at the veggie stand. Please accept my sincerest sympathy.
