Sandra (Sandy) Van Dusen

Sandra (Sandy) Van Dusen was born September 25, 1959 and passed away August 8th 2020 after a brief illness.

Sandy was predeceased by her Mother Sylvia Kay (Patterson) Van Dusen. She leaves behind her father Rodney Van Dusen Sr. of Barefoot Bay Florida. Her Sister Lisa (Van Dusen) Mathers, her Brother in law David Mathers of Midland Virginia. Their children her beloved niece & nephew. Jennifer Ward of Stafford VA, Robert Mathers of Warrenton VA, along with their children, Piper, Jack, Jameson, Holden & Evan.

She also leaves behind her Brother Rodney Van Dusen Jr. of Barefoot Bay Florida & a cousin Tony Patterson of Binghamton NY.

Sandy graduated from Vestal Senior High School in 1977. She attended Tompkins Courtland Community College & later graduated with a business degree from Ridley Lowell Business Institute in Binghamton NY.

Sandy was a long time resident of The North Shore Towers on Exchange St. in Binghamton NY. She was very involved with her community always volunteering at The Nutrition Center and helping to plan and organize events for the Office for the aging.

She loved her pet birds and had several over the years.

Sandy was Loved by her family and her community and will be terribly missed by all.

Sandy was a very good friend and a fabulous volunteer at the Community Center. I miss her presence every single day! She will be greatly missed, gone way too soon.
