Carolyn, I moved away and lost contact with you and Steve many years ago, but I remember him with fondness as a thoughtful and kind friend. Recently on Facebook, I enjoyed discussing our John Deere tractors, though envious of his find. Just now, I looked up St. Maximus and was impressed by the fresh vision of a new Orthodox community, something we rarely see these days.
My heartfelt condolences to you and your family at this time of loss.

I hope you feel surrounded by much love. I'm sending healing prayers for "His Special Care."
Wonderful Steve showed such Christlike virtues.
