Ann GIVENS

GIVENS Ann Ann Brooks Givens passed away on Sunday, November 20, 2016. She was 95 years old. She was born in Hopewell, Virginia. Ann lived in Virginia and later Georgia. In 1963, her late husband Robert L. Givens, Sr was transferred to Davis, California. While in Davis, she was a librarian at Davis Senior High School and eventually at St. Francis High School in Sacramento. She loved cats, gardening, cooking, visiting with friends and attending concerts as well as opera. She will always be remembered as a loving mother and friend. Ann was very much a people person, full of suggestions for every occasion and problem. Ann, in addition was a dear sweet individual. She was devoted to her family and friends, who will miss her very much. Ann leaves behind her two children Robert L. Givens Jr. of Santa Rosa and Pauline B. Givens of Elk Grove, California. A Celebration of Life will be held on a later date. Interment will be at Church of the Incarnation in Santa Rosa.
